John is a keen fisherman - he and the boys have participated in many local fishing competitions.    Morella is a keen recreational cook and enjoys outdoor pursuits. Both of us are very keen on personal fitness and have recently joined the local gym. 

We specialise in project management and have a growing database of reliable contractors and suppliers who have worked with us on many local projects. Where possible, we like to use local trades people.

Conceptual designs can be prepared with estimate budgets which can then be either modified or developed into full working drawings, specifications and project budgets.

We provide building condition reporting to be used for pre-purchase and/or maintenance requirements. We specialise in critical path management and have several recent projects we are proud to have completed on time and to budget. We also manage the Building Warrant of Fitness folders for a number of local building owners, including Norske Skog at their Tasman site. John has current IQP status for a number of items.

About

DD2 is owned and operated by John and Morella Rogerson. We have been married 40+ years, have two boys and have been in business together now for over 30 years, mostly in our practice at Whakatane. 
Our drawing office is situated in Whakatane city and contains two CAD stations and current Microsoft software to enable quality document production. Internet capability assures the latest technical information can be sourced readily and downloaded as required, if not available in our extensive library.

John is the Architectural Designer and Morella, the Interior Designer. Due to our combined experience we often manage projects together.

We both have a passion for design and colour which makes our work satisfying.
